SAN ANTONIO — Dreaming of the perfect San Antonio wedding at the San Fernando Cathedral?
Getting married on a Sunday might make that dream just that much more affordable.
The average cost of a wedding in Bexar County is between $17,294 and $28,823, according to CostOfWedding.com. So how can couples save money while still making their big day a reality?

Couples should make sure to give details like directions, the terrain or recommended attire to the wedding, especially if the venue is difficult to find.
Letting the men know whether or not you expect people to wear black or a little bit more casual attire is acceptable, said Tracy French of The French Connection. If you have the expectation, then you need to tell people. Otherwise, people are going to show up in something other than what you’re wanting.

I had a lovely time working with Michelle and Lawrence of New Jersey to plan their destination wedding in Savannah, GA. Savannah is the most charming of US destinations. You may remember this couple as their wedding was featured on an episode of Married Away for the Style Network.
